BakeShape Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Welcome to BakeShape (bakeshape.com). By creating an account or using BakeShape, you agree to these terms.

1. What BakeShape is

BakeShape generates custom cookie cutter and stamp designs as 3D-printable STL files, from ideas you type, pictures you upload, basic shapes, and letter tiles. You print the files yourself on your own equipment.

2. Your account

You need an account (email sign-in) to use AI design generation. Keep your sign-in access secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent limits or payments, or use BakeShape unlawfully.

3. Plans, credits and fair use

Free accounts receive a monthly allowance of AI designs. Paid plans (BakeShape Club, Seller) include a larger monthly allowance under fair use. Credit packs add extra designs that never expire. A design is consumed when a generation completes; completed generations are not refundable as unused. If a generation fails or is refused, your design is not consumed. Founding-member pricing remains in effect for as long as your subscription stays active.

4. AI-generated designs — no guarantee of results

AI generation is creative and variable. We don't guarantee that any particular idea will generate, that results will match what you imagined, or that every generation will be usable — that's why free accounts can try before buying, and why re-rolls exist. The AI provider may decline certain prompts. Variation in output is part of the service, not a fault.

5. Licence to your designs

You own the ideas and images you provide. We grant you a licence to the design files BakeShape generates, according to your plan at the time of download:

  • · Free: personal use only. Print and bake for yourself, your family and friends, and gifts. Not for business use.
  • · BakeShape Club: personal use, plus a commercial licence for physical goods — you may sell cookies, baked goods, and physical printed cutters and stamps made from your files (markets, online shops, your bakery).
  • · Seller: everything in Club, plus a commercial licence for the files too — you may sell or distribute the design files themselves.

Your licence for files downloaded while on a plan survives later downgrades for those files. You may not use BakeShape output to train competing AI or design-generation services.

6. Your content

You confirm you have the rights to any image you upload, and that you won't use BakeShape to reproduce designs, characters or artwork you don't have rights to. You're responsible for what you create and sell.

7. Liability

BakeShape is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for how you print, use or sell your designs (printing settings, food-safety practices and product compliance are in your hands). Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded; where liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it's limited to re-supplying the service or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
